6BR7 8D5 Brimar Tube (sim to EF86)

Nice new old stock Brimar British made 6BR7 tubes. Except for the base connections, these are interchangeable in circuits with EF86 (US 6267) tubes. (In other words you have to rewire the socket) These are really useful in do-it-yourself projects that call for EF86, you can have genuine British made NOS tubes in your project for less than the cost of new production EF86's!

8D5 is the older Brimar number for this same tube. Here's the spec sheet for this tube type: http://www.r-type.org/pdfs/6br7.pdf These are from a bulk egg crate and are a little dusty from sitting for years in an English warehouse, but I'll dust 'em off, make sure they test to new spec or better and pack in white boxes for shipping

Tubes are tested with an AVO tester and test within normal factory tolerance for plate current and transconductance, and are tested for leakage and shorts. If you order more than one, we match the tubes as closely for appearance and electrical characteristics as possible.
